The Ukraine’s Green Recovery Plan for the Vistula River Basin (the Western Bug and San River Sub-Basin)
DESCRIPTION
Ukrainian environmental organisations together with Coalition Clean Baltic (CCB) have developed an environmental recovery plan for the Ukrainian territories of the Baltic Sea basin. The Vistula River basin area in Ukraine includes the Western Bug and San River sub-basin, covering the territory of 2 regions — Lviv and Volyn.
The plan is divided into four segments: eutrophication, biodiversity, hazardous substances and litter, and Hot Spots. The segments highlight different priority areas and propose solutions.
This document is intended for policy makers, environmental organisations and entities working on the environmental recovery of Ukraine. A summary of actions within the Green Recovery Plan is presented as a List of Proposals to Support Priority Projects in Annex 1.
