Description

Across the Baltic Sea region, nature restoration is already underway – and delivering results for nature and people. Now, there is an opportunity to build on what works and take restoration to scale.

How can we turn successful local efforts, on land and at sea, into recovery of the Baltic Sea as a whole? And what is needed to give restoration the plans, resources and momentum to succeed?

This joint CCB and WWF Baltic Sea Programme event will take place on 4 November 2026, in Warsaw, Poland, back to back alongside the HELCOM Ministerial Meeting 2026.

We will showcase restoration successes from across the region and the benefits they bring to ecosystems, communities and local economies. Together, we will explore how ambitious national restoration planning, action to reduce pressures, and cooperation through HELCOM can turn individual successes into lasting regional recovery.
