How can reusable food packaging systems work in practice – and what does it take to make them scalable?

Join us in Denmark for the conference Reusable Food Packaging Systems – European Experiences and Solutions on 23 October 2026. The conference will take place in Albertslund – a municipality located approximately 20 km west of Copenhagen.

At the conference, we will present the results of three years of testing and implementing reusable food packaging systems in real-life settings across Europe.

Municipalities, companies, universities, NGOs and system operators have collaborated in this EU-funded initiative. At the final conference, you will meet the actors driving the transition from single-use to reuse and gain insights from systems tested in public institutions, events, food markets and urban public spaces.

Learn how reusable food packaging systems are being developed and implemented in:

- strategic initiatives supporting the transition to reuse systems.
