Description
The 21st meeting of the Technical Group on seabed habitats and sea-floor integrity (TG Seabed) took place on April 7, 2025.
The meeting covered future of the Mediterranean and Black Seas sub-group, a state-of-play update on the publication of Article 8 long guidance, presentations from the Netherlands and Spain on their national approaches to seabed integrity (D6) reporting, lessons learned from a Member State questionnaire on D6C5, outcomes from relevant ICES benchmark workshops, and a discussion on the way forward towards establishing a threshold value for D6C5 seabed habitat quality.
