What is HELCOM? The Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission – also known as the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM) – is an intergovernmental organization (IGO) and a regional sea convention in the Baltic Sea area. HELCOM was established about four decades ago to protect the marine environment of the Baltic Sea from all sources of pollution through intergovernmental cooperation. The HELCOM Secretariat is located in Helsinki, Finland. To know more about it.

On the 02.06.2020  from 9:00 to 16:00 CET was held online the Intersessional Meeting of the Working Group on the State of the Environment and Nature Conservation.

Aimi Hamberg, who works for the Danish Society and Nature Conservation participated to the event under Coalition Clean Baltic.
