Joint Statement at the 49th session of the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean GFCM

At the 49th session of the GFCM, held on 26-30 October 2026 in Rome, Italy, CCB and MedReAct submitted a joint statement urging the GFCM to adopt a precautionary fishing ban across all life stages of European eel no later than 2027.
