BSAC Executive Committee Meeting May 2025
What is the BSAC? The Baltic Sea Advisory Council (BSAC) was set up in March 2006 after a decision by the EU to create so-called Regional Advisory Councils in the fisheries sector (Council Decision 2004/585/EC). The main aim of the BSAC is to prepare and provide advice on the management of Baltic Sea fisheries in order to achieve a successful running of the EU’s Common Fisheries Policy. To know more about it.

Description

A meeting aimed at members of the Baltic Sea Advisory Council (BSAC) Executive Committee, with agenda items covering working group reports from the Pelagic, Demersal, EBM, and Science focus groups, a presentation on salmon selection and survival in trap fisheries, and preparations for the BSAC's 20th Anniversary.
The meeting took place in person and online May 20, 2025 from 9:00 - 13 CET.
