Guide to sustainable event management

DESCRIPTION

CCB recognizes the need to minimize its effects on the environment and with this Guide continues
the efforts started in 2019 with adoption of CCB’s travel policy, as well with the ongoing revision
of CCB’s gender, social diversity and equity work. We aim to reduce environmental footprint by
constant “greening” of our activities and this Guide is intended to help CCB member and partner
organizations, as well as wider stakeholders audience in doing so in practical steps.

This Guide represents English translation of the original publication being prepared within the
framework of the project “Building capacity for strategic planning and management of regional
structural transformations in Belarus in the context of a circular economy”. The project was
implemented by the Dortmund International Education Center (IEC) in cooperation with the Wuppertal
Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy with the support of the Regional Fund for
Administrative Reforms in the Eastern Partnership Countries on behalf of the German Society for
International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development
(BMZ).

CCB thanks the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency – Sida and EU LIFE Programme
for the financial support in producing this publication.
