On Monday, 19th of April, 14–16 CET, was the opportunity to join the webinar to hear some answers to the following questions:

  • What should be done on farms to ensure sustainable nutrient management?

  • And how could policies help us get there?


On the agenda, among other things, farm and regional scale recommendations, a regionwide snapshot of the current situation, EU Commission presentation of the Farm Sustainability Tool for Nutrients.

The webinar was organized by the Interreg platform project SuMaNu – Sustainable Manure and Nutrient Management for reduction of nutrient loss in the Baltic Sea Region. This EUSBSR flagship project draws from 10 years of research and development in different international projects to produce policy recommendations and provide a fuller picture of a what sustainable nutrient management requires on different levels.
Gunnar Norén CCB's Senior Advisor as well as Maria Staniszewska, who works for the Polish Ecological Club, participated to the event on behalf of CCB.
