What is ASCOBANS?
ASCOBANS was concluded in 1991 as the Agreement on the Conservation of Small Cetaceans of the Baltic and North Seas (ASCOBANS) under the auspices of the Convention on Migratory Species (CMS or Bonn Convention) and entered into force in 1994. To know more about it.

The First Meeting of the Joint Bycatch Working Group of ACCOBAMS and ASCOBANS has been held online from 10 February 2021 to 12 February 2021.
