What is HELCOM? The Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission – also known as the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM) – is an intergovernmental organization (IGO) and a regional sea convention in the Baltic Sea area. HELCOM was established about four decades ago to protect the marine environment of the Baltic Sea from all sources of pollution through intergovernmental cooperation. The HELCOM Secretariat is located in Helsinki, Finland. To know more about it.

Description

The 56th Meeting of the Heads of Delegation (HOD 56-2019) was held on 18-19 June 2019 in Helsinki, Finland, at the premises of the HELCOM Secretariat (Katajanokanlaituri 6 B, FI-00160, Helsinki). The Meeting started on Tuesday, 18 June at 10:00 and ended on Wednesday, 19 June by 15:00.

CCB and WWF presented the "Greener Agriculture for Sustainable Sea" Conference, which was held on 25-26 September in Warsaw, Poland.
