Joint open letter to the Swedish Minister for Climate and the Environment Romina Pourmokhtari regarding Sweden's national strategy and action plan for biodiversity until 2030.

Right now, a very important task is on the government's table: to develop a new national strategy and action plan for biodiversity (NBSAP). In order for us to reach the goals that Sweden has stood behind and been pushing to produce, it is important that the action plan is ambitious and comprehensive. Below we present a number of proposals to secure an ambitious strategy and action plan. We who sign this letter represent Swedish members of the International Union for Conservation of Nature IUCN, a union whose members - including the governments of more than 90 countries, over 1,400 organizations and 15,000 experts - for 75 years actively working for a sustainable nature.
