CCB BALTIC 05 CONFERENCE

The CCB Baltic 05 Conference was held on May 27-29 in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad region, Russia. The headline for this year Conference was "Water Pollution of Russian Federation in the Baltic Sea Catchment Area. With special attention on Kaliningrad." The Conference participants included representatives of the CCB organisations, and of international and Russian environmental institutions. The Conference speakers made interesting presentations of water-related environmental problems in the Baltic Sea Region and approaches to their solution, and on CCB activities carried out within this field.

During the working groups session, the Conference participants had in-depth discussions about CCB priority sub-areas. These discussions will be the base for CCB Work programme 2006.
